Three Trending Topics.
One Afternoon. Three CEUs.
(and it’s free!)

These days, it seems time is more valuable than just about anything. Except maybe your professional certification. The NBS CEUnami event respects both.

You’re invited to discover new ways of seeing and doing. Learn best practices. Gain foresight. And earn a few CEUs at the same time. Attend just one or all three. Food and beverages will be provided along with a creative and intellectual buzz that will inspire new thinking about your work. But register now, space is limited.

About the CEUnami Series
CEUnami offers a concentrated educational experience. It is a dynamic convergence of innovative thinking, professional growth and networking opportunities for architects, designers and experts from affiliated professions.

As host and co-sponsor, NBS will leverage its industry partnerships to provide engaging speakers and relevant content that is applicable to a variety of design projects. The Interior Design Continuing Education Council (IDCEC) has approved all courses for CEU credit.

Registration ends April 17, 2015.

Wellbeing in the Workplace

Presented by: Kevin Butler, Senior Ergonomist, Steelcase
Designers – 0.1 CEU; Architects – 1 LU

As students of the workplace, at Steelcase we know place shapes behaviors and experiences. And yet the power of place is still often overlooked.

Through more than a decade of research projects, we’ve been intently investigating ways to leverage the workplace to achieve organizational goals. So, as workplace wellbeing has emerged as a business issue of growing importance, it’s been on our radar for several years. And the more we looked at and learned about it, the more we realized it was important to learn more.

So we completed a focused research project in 2013 to understand the growing importance and expanding dimensions of worker wellbeing. As we researched and dug deep, we reached new insights about the positive drivers of wellbeing and the power of the workplace for achieving it. We would like to share our latest findings, the output of a team of our WorkSpace Futures researchers in Europe, North America and Asia.
