Jerry Brown collaborates with K-12 schools, colleges and universities across the country to create innovative research-informed learning environments that align spatial design with pedagogy. With over 20 years of experience as a K-12 educator, Jerry now prepares future teachers at Grand Valley State University’s College of Education, Innovation, and Technology. A recipient of the 2022 Pew Teaching Excellence Award, for bridging academic research with real-world practice, his focus is helping institutions design spaces that foster student engagement, identity development, and instructional innovation.
Meghan is a design manager on the Interiors Exploration + Marketing Design Studio. She has over 20 years of experience in the design industry, half of which she spent as an architectural and interior designer in A+D firms in the West Michigan area. She has spent the last 10 years at Steelcase working to support our external design audiences with by supporting our research and insights through imagery, tools and resources with actionable applications for how our vast portfolio of products can be used to create spaces that improve the way workers work. Most recently she has been working to bring more resources and visibility to our growing Inclusive Design practice.
