We’re blending adorable pets, inspiring furniture, bold textiles, and statement floorcoverings into one unforgettable calendar that celebrates creativity, design, and our love of four-legged companions.

HERE’S HOW TO ENTER:
Register and submit your favorite photo of your pet.
Get your friends, family and coworkers to vote. Online voting will determine which pets are photographed.
Pets with the most votes will receive a professional photoshoot with our curated collection of furniture, textiles, and floorcoverings from our participating vendor sponsors in the NBS Troy Experience Center.
Don’t miss your chance to have your furry, feathered, scaled or any kind of pet friend featured in the 2026 Fur + Furniture Calendar — a paws-itively unique industry celebration of creativity and cuteness!
This competition is only open to NBS clients and our partners in the A&D and Real Estate community. NBS reserves the right to determine eligibility and to decline submissions that do not meet entry qualification.

Photoshoot Dates:
Saturday, August 16 OR Saturday, August 23.
A select number of pets will receive a 20-minute session between 9 AM – 4 PM on their assigned date.
Must be available on one of these dates for your entry to qualify.
Help us give back
Calendar sales will benefit Friends of Detroit Animal Care and Control (FoDACC), and each photoshoot will include a collection drive for essential animal care items.
FoDACC is dedicated to saving the lives of Detroit’s animals, ensuring equal access to companion animals for those of all socio-economic levels, and elevating the standard of animal care citywide. In close partnership with Detroit Animal Care & Control (DACC), they support homeless animals at the shelter while also working proactively to keep pets with their families and out of the shelter system altogether.
