NBS Makes Crain’s Cool Places to Work List for the Third Year in a Row!

This is the seventh year Crain’s Detroit has produced the Cool Places to Work list, highlighting companies that, according to their employees, go above and beyond in putting a focus on workplace culture. A third-party firm assessed the ratings and comments, compared against all applicants, and then determined the top 100. Learn more about the process and how a company gets recognized here.

Based on our Michigan-based team members comments and feedback, NBS earned the #37 spot on the list out of 100! We are honored to be included on this list for the third year in a row! Check out the full list of recipients.

At NBS we create inspiring and harder working environments for our team members and clients to feel productive, engaged and proud of where they work. We believe space matters and can help shape an organization’s culture. Our own work environments are living proof of that and we are proud our team members agree.

What makes NBS a cool place to work?

  • State-of-the-art showrooms that offer a variety of settings from lounge furniture to height adjustable desks and private focus rooms.
  • Family feel work environment where people support and help one another to create the best experience for each other and our clients
  • Culture of giving back to our communities and offering paid time off to volunteer
  • Fun and energetic atmosphere with company events and social get-togethers
  • Flexibility and choice over where and when work gets done as well as providing the latest technology tools
  • Culture of rewarding and recognizing the efforts of team members

Chief Operating Officer Heather Lanier shared her appreciation for our team, “It is an honor to earn this recognition as a direct reflection of our team members feedback for three years in a row! We have tried to build a work environment that encourages teamwork, celebrates success and engages our team. We have been so fortunate to find and hire such dedicated individuals and wouldn’t be nearly as cool without all of their passion and commitment to our clients!”
