Now Under One Roof! NBS Clawson & Troy Teams

To better serve Southeast Michigan with our NBS Architecture + Furniture + Technology (AFT) capabilities, we’ve merged our Clawson and Troy locations as of January 28th, 2019! This move will also improve synergy and communication among these two teams who work closely together. Our Clawson facility was the home to our Construction Solutions division who manage our architectural products as well as carpentry, painting, branding, and other interior construction services. Bringing all our AFT divisions under one roof will help us create the best client experience possible as well as continue to illustrate to our clients how an integrated approach to space can boost workplace performance, support business culture and achieve company objectives.

To support these two teams coming together under one roof, our Troy location will be undergoing an expansion and renovation – gaining 4,000 square feet of additional showroom space by bumping into our adjacent warehouse facility. In addition, several other areas of our Troy showroom will be refreshed and reconfigured to support the needs of our larger, merged team. This will include new architectural elements, furnishing applications and technology updates.

The goals of the refreshed Troy facility include:

• Create additional collaborative team spaces that support technology and visual display
• Provide adequate ratio of free address, team and focus spaces
• Provide an ecosystem of spaces to support a range of posture, privacy and presence
• Create a warehouse facility for all NBS divisions
• Support the creative process and foster collaboration
• Optimize real estate to support the needs of the business and our growing team

We are excited to bring our two Metro Detroit teams together and create an inspiring and harder working environment for team members to work in and clients to experience. The renovation is scheduled to be completed this summer.
